Lucky2BHere Training Session 05/12/2015

On Saturday the first training session was held for the Lucky2BHere defibrillators that Ness Engineering has been co-ordinating the fundraising for.

The training session was well attended with twenty four people from the local community being show how the defibrillators work and how to use them by our local trainers Una Simpson, Niall Bristow, Hazel Cooper and Emma Gray.

The first two defibrillators have now been delivered and will be located at John Goudie’s shop in Toab and Mainland’s shop in Dunrossness.

We will organising another training day with the Lucky2BHere trainers next year and will publicise the date and time once they are confirmed. The training session takes 2 hours.

The fundraising JustGiving page is up and running and allows people to make Gift Aid donations, big or small. The JustGiving page address is: www.justgiving.com/NessEngineeringDefib

Donations can also be made at the Ness Engineering office, John Goudie’s shop in Toab, Mainland’s shop in Dunrossness, and at the Tourist Information desk at the Sumburgh Airport Terminal.
